Got a call around 11 in the morning from a bloke with an Indian accent saying they were verifying two charges from my bank acct. They said one was £300, the other over £1000. Then they told me to press 1 if I confirmed the payments, or press 2 to discuss it more. I opted for 2, then a woman answered, saying “Yes Ma’am,” but then the call just dropped. Definitely felt like a scam. Never give out your info on a call like that. Never.
