I do have an account with Santander, but their messages usually look different from this one. I’ve already contacted their fraud department to let them know about it.

Got a message saying someone tried to link a gadget to my Santander thing. There was an IP address mentioned too. The funny bit? I don’t even have an account there.

Got a text saying "SANTANDER ALERT: On 25/03 at 21:12 a new device was added to your account." Problem is, I’ve never had an account with Santander. Seems like a total scam to me. Don’t tap any links or reply if you get a message like this from that number. Stay safe!
