Got a message sayin my PayPal account was accessed from some IP in China (902.301.9867). It looked kinda dodgy, especially when they gave a UK helpline number (+44)800-640-4564 to call if it wasn’t me. Thought I’d better be careful before I click anything!

Got a message claiming to be from PayPal saying I sent £2100 to Intel's Holding Co. Ltd on 30-03-2022. It had a number to call if I didn’t make the payment: +44-8006404563. Totally fake. I double-checked my PayPal, and no such transaction exists. Definitely a scam trying to freak me out.

Got a text saying I transferred €1500 to some guy named Hung Sui Hang on Tuesday 29th March 2022 via PayPal. But I never sent anything! It also gives a number to ring right away if you didn’t do it: +44-800-640-4563. Bit fishy if you ask me.
