somebody rang me saying they were from admiral insurance, which i guess is the company for the person who crashed into my car. they told me that if i pursued a personal injury claim i could get about £2000. they also said if i decided not to claim, the money would still go to my insurance, but they’d keep it as profit. what struck me as strange was that the ‘official’ number they gave me to call back was actually just a mobile phone number.

I got a call from this number, and the person on the other end said he was from my insurance company. He kept talking about an accident and insisted I could get £2000 from it. All he wanted was some personal details, but I said no. He kept pushing and asked if I wanted that money in my bank account, saying it was good news. I told him I wasn’t interested and asked him to stop bothering me and wasting my time. He didn’t seem pleased with my response.

After a car crash, these dodgy ambulance chasers were just trying to reel people in for business. Proper scumbags.
