Got a text saying my PayPal’s been frozen over some security issues and that I need to go to ‘PayPal-login17[###]’ or else my account’ll be shut down. I barely use PayPal anyway, so it’s not a big deal, just weird how they even got my phone number in the first place!

Got a text from +447932872629 saying my PayPal was restricted and I had to log in quick or they’ll shut down my account. Definitely a scam, so I’ve blocked the number.

Got a message claiming to be from HSBC saying a payment was made from my account, and to click a link if it wasnt me. Blocked straight away!

Got a text from this number claiming to be "Virgin Media" saying my "phone bill hadn't gone through" with the number attached. Virgin Media doesn't do texts like that, plus when you use a Virgin SIM they have an automatic contact name that can't be changed and they never use no-reply texts. Definitely report this number and block it asap.

Got a text from this number claiming to be "Virgin Media" saying my "phone bill was unpaid," it even showed the number. But Virgin Media texts usually come with a no-reply and an automatic contact name you can't change if you use their SIM. Definitely a scam, report and block!

This number just rang me claiming to be my broadband provider, threatening to disconnect me within a day if I didn’t hit 1. I ended the call straight away and blocked it. Honestly, it’s worrying to think what might’ve happened if I’d followed their instructions.

I told the guy I've been in loads of accidents, so which one did he mean? he seemed really helpful but then hung up straight away. wish I had taken down the company name and number to report them to oftel, hope they get fined big time and go bust. feels bad for the poor caller tho, probably lost his job because of it.
