I got a message saying it was from Royal Mail asking me to pay for a parcel to be delivered. The website looked pretty much like the official Royal Mail site, but when I checked with my local post office, they told me it was definitely a scam.

Just had a message about paying £1.99 from royaimail.myparcel-unpaidfeeI###]. The website’s certificate was made just a few hours before I got the text, which seems really dodgy. I’m pretty sure it’s a scam but feeling a bit uneasy since I am expecting some parcels soon.

I reckon this is one of those Royal Mail phishing scams. Got a text saying something like: your Royal Mail parcel hasn’t been delivered yet. Please pay £1.99 to confirm here: (#Jroyaimail billng-packagefee(####). What stood out to me was the dodgy link, nothing like the official royalmail domain. Honestly, if you actually click on that, these scammers probably rip you off a lot more than just a couple of quid. Pretty sure it’s best to ignore stuff like this.
