Loads of these delivery scams just blast out messages to endless numbers, trying their luck to find someone waiting on a parcel. I get a few each week and just block them straight away. If you come across these, it's best to send them to 7726, that’s the number the police recommend for reporting phishing. Don’t even think about clicking the links - they could infect your phone with nasty malware. I’ve got Norton 360 running, and it usually catches these dodgy attempts before anything bad happens. I got a text from this number pretending to be EVRI, as I was waiting for a delivery from an Ebay seller. They asked for my personal info like name, address, and even bank details to supposedly cover a tiny charge of 29p to make sure my parcel arrived correctly. It seemed like they’d somehow intercepted my message to Ebay about the late delivery and tried to scam me. As soon as they mentioned payment, I knew It was dodgy, so I stopped replying, blocked the number and reported them as a scam.
