Got a call from someone claiming to be from the Citizen Claims Bureau about some debt, but as soon as I said I didn’t owe anything, he just went silent. I've decided to block the number now!

Got a call out of nowhere about some loan I supposedly had. I asked how they managed to get my number in the first place, and immediately suspected a scam. The bloke then started insulting me, telling me to do all sorts of ridiculous things. To top it off, he rang back two more times, carrying on with the abuse. I let him know he was daft and warned I’d report him to the proper authorities. We had a bit of a back-and-forth, with me questioning how anyone so thick could work in telemarketing.

Yesterday, some bloke rang me claiming to be from Citizens Advice about my supposed huge debts. I told him to do one. Today, when he called back, I just told him to f*** off outright. Then he just laughed and weirdly started calling me pumpkin? Seriously, what even was that? Total scammer, no thanks!

I got a call from a blocked number, turns out it was a scam. Then they tried ringing me again but from a different number! They’re really cheeky. I ended up reporting them to the fraud line for C.A.B that I found on the internet. Proper annoying!

Got a call off someone claiming to be from the citizens advice about debts I supposedly owe. Asked her where she got that info and she muttered something I couldn’t catch. Told her it sounded like a scam and then the call just cut off. I’ve blocked the number now.

Today I got calls on both my home phone and mobile from someone claiming there was a Government thing about debt. After he interrupted me loads, I just ended the call. Then when he rang my mobile again, I told him he’d got the wrong number, and he rudely told me to jump in a river, so I hung up straight away. They didn’t stop though, ringing back again right after.

i kept gettin calls from them, and each time they said they were from a different firm. they couldn’t even get my name or if i was a bloke or bird right, despite me telling them loads of times. the last call i told them to bugger off real loud and just slammed the phone down. they haven’t rung again since, so i guess that’s a win!

I got a call both on my mobile and my landline. The mobile only rang once, so I didn’t pick up. Then the guy rang my landline, which is on the TPS and not listed anywhere. The caller claimed to be from Citizens Advice, asking about debts and IVAs. He said one of my creditors had given him my number. He kept pushing me to give out personal details, but when I didn’t play along, he just said thanks, madam, and hung up.

He kept refusing to say his name or where he was calling from. Then he had the nerve to ask if I was deaf! I just said 'sorry?' and ended the call. After that, he rang me back thrice, cursing at me to go f##k myself. What a charming bloke. I've blocked the number now.

Truecaller showed it as a car accident scam, but I picked up since I’m sick of unknown numbers ringing. I told the guy my number’s on the TPS list, and he immediately called me a liar. Then he read out my email address and just hung up. I’ve blocked the number and reported it to TPS now.

For the past few days, this number has kept ringing me like 3 or 4 times daily. I finally picked up today, even though I suspected it was just some annoying telemarketer. They started going on about me owing £2000, but when I said they’ve got the wrong person, the bloke suddenly got really rude and started swearing, telling me to “fuck off”. So obviously, I hung up fast! But then they rang me back straight away and when I answered again, the guy shouted he was gonna “fuck me”. Seriously, don’t pick up if this number calls you!
