Got a dodgy text from hmrc saying I’ve got some tax rebate waiting since 11/01/2021. It asked me to click a link to sort it out. Don’t fall for it! Just block the number and delete the message straight away!

i got a couple of texts from different phone numbers but they looked alike, one saying i could claim £330 in tax savings if i click the link and the other one saying i should cancel an oxfam subscription which i dont have at all. definitely dont click those links or answer the messages! just block them straight away.

Got a text from +447932421306 saying thanks for a £10 monthly donation to Oxfam. It had a link to cancel the subscription too. The thing is, I’m not signed up for any Oxfam donations at all, so I think it’s a scam or a mix-up. Be careful, folks!

Got a text from "O2" about some problem with my bill and wanted me to follow a link. I don't actually use O2, so this definitely looks like a scam to me.

Received a text about a tax refund from hmrc saying I’ve got a payout waiting since 10/01/21. They asked me to click on this link: rebate-claim-gov[###] to check my claim, but this definitely looks like a scam. Don’t fall for it!

so a number saying theyre from hm revenue customs and that ive got some tax rebate waiting, asked me to fill out a form by clicking a link. i just blocked the caller straight away. seriously, dont trust or click on any links they send!

Got a text from this number saying they were from 02, told me I had to send an urgent payment straight away or my phone would be cut off because my bill wasn’t paid. Sounded a bit sketchy to me.

Got a text from someone pretending to be HMRC saying I had a tax refund and to click a link to claim it. Didn't bother clicking since I don’t even make enough money to pay tax, so no way I’d be getting a rebate. Seemed dodgy to me!
