Got a dodgy text from Halifax at 9.31pm on 01/01/2021, from +44 7932 405368. It said something like I’d added a new payee called Mr M Khamil with an account ending 3994. The message told me to click on some link [#]secure-mypayee-auth{###] if I hadn’t done it, to sort out my account. Rang Halifax directly after and they said it was definitely a scam.

Got a text claiming I was eligible for a covid grant, but the link looked dodgy, pretending to be some official government site. Definitely looks like a scam to me, so be careful clicking on these messages!

Got a text saying I qualified for some covid 19 grant, with a link to apply. Definitely a scam, don't fall for it!
