Got a call from someone claiming to be with BT Openreach, said they wanted to verify my broadband connection.

I got a robocall saying they were from BT and that my internet would be cut off because there was some cyber risk linked to my IP. They told me to press 1 to chat with someone. The person I got on the line had a strong Indian accent right away. He told me to switch on my laptop and walked me through some websites to ‘verify’ if my IP was hacked or something.
