I got a call earlier from this number and it was one of those automated messages with a lady speaking English with an Indian accent. She said she was from HMRC and warned me that if I didn’t sort something out right away, legal steps would follow. Definitely seemed like a scam to me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from the Crime Investigation Agency, threatening to close my NI account and seize everything I own. They kept telling me to press 1. I reckon some folks might panic and fall for it. Seems like a proper scam to me.
