My elderly mum got a call from someone trying to sell call blocking services. Luckily, she had just disconnected the phone before they could say much. It’s so upsetting how these scam callers target older people.

Got a call claiming to be from some Call Blocking Service saying they could stop scam calls forever for £139.99. I played along for a bit, kinda funny pretending to be interested, but then they asked to speak to a 'supervisor' to handle payment. This was actually the third time in a week I’ve had a nearly identical scam call. Definitely dodgy.
