Got a message claiming there was a problem with my PayPal and it asked me to complete a form. I went ahead and filled it out but now I’m not sure what might happen next. Is it better if I just close my account or something?

Got a message supposedly from PayPal telling me to click on a link because they ‘limited my account’ due to some problem. Yeah, no way am I clicking anything like that! I reckon real PayPal messages come through your actual account and don’t have dodgy grammar or weird links. Just blocked the number straight away. The message said something like: PayPal: Your account is limited, visit https: // login-ref 92737388 [###] to fix it. Total scam if you ask me!

Received a message from this number claiming there’s a problem with my PayPal and that my account is ‘restricted’. They included a link to supposedly fix it, but there’s no way I’m clicking on that!
