Got a call on my home phone from this number just now. It was some robotic voice saying I'd made purchases on Amazon for £300 and £1100, and it asked me to press buttons to confirm or deny. I hung up straight away. Watch out, this looks like a scam to me.

Got a call on my home phone a few days back. Didn’t pick up since I figured it was probably a scam. Turns out, I wasn’t wrong. They didn’t even bother leaving a voicemail.

This morning at about 7.58am, I got a call from a mobile number, a woman who sounded Asian claiming to be from Microsoft. She told me my computer was compromised and even gave me some unique ID plus Microsoft’s full contact info, which looked legit when I checked. She was quite pushy, asking me to turn on my computer while she stayed on the phone. I said no thanks. Later on, I discovered this is a known scam tactic. Keep in mind, Microsoft never calls you out of the blue like that.

Got a voicemail from someone claiming to be British Telecom saying my phone would be cut off because of fraud! Pretty suspicious if you ask me.

Got a call on my home phone but it just went straight to voicemail. Pretty sure it was a scam.

Got a call earlier today from someone claiming to be with Talk Talk, saying my internet speed was really slow and they wanted to help fix it. This was actually the third time I'd gotten the same call, so I just made up some fake info and the line got dropped. If EE owns this number, why haven’t they blocked it yet once they know it's just scammers ringing about?

I got a call from a robotic woman saying that my Amazon Prime had expired and that £95 had been taken off my card. She told me to press a number... total scam call, just ignore it!

Answered the phone and the moment I did, they just ended the call straight away. Blocked the number now, just another annoying fake caller.

This number keeps ringing my grandparents’ landline several times daily. They even knew my grandma’s name and started spouting nonsense about problems with her computer, which is odd because she doesn’t even own one. I picked up earlier today and told them to take their number off the phone, and they just shouted insults before slamming the phone down. Luckily, I’ve blocked the number now, but without a doubt, they’re scammers.

They claimed to be from Microsoft, but it was clearly fake. I wouldn’t trust them near my PC at all. The call quality was awful, and when I asked the person - who had an accent I couldn’t quite place - to repeat what he said because the last part was unclear, he started shouting and went, “ARE YOU DEAF?!” Proper rude. I’ve dealt with real Microsoft support before, and they’re always polite, so my advice is just to end the call, block the number, and report it.

Got a call claiming to be from Sky, but as soon as I answered, they just cut off the line before I even had a chance to say anything. Classic spam.

I have my suspicions that this might be a fraudulent operation, as they purported to represent Amazon.

This number has rung me like ten times this week but nobody ever says anything when I pick up. Very odd.
