I've had two calls today from someone pretending to be HMRC, accusing me of tax evasion and telling me to press 1 to talk to an agent. The second call came from 07379 364209. When I pressed 1 the first time, a lady answered and asked how she could help. I mentioned that I’d received a call from that number and then she just hung up on me. I’ve never dodged my tax and there’s no way HMRC is after me. This is clearly a scam.
