I’ve received a couple of calls today from someone purporting to be from HMRC, claiming I’m under investigation for tax evasion! The second number was 07379 364209. On the first call, I pressed 1 as instructed, and a woman answered, asking how she could assist me. When I mentioned that I was called, she promptly hung up. I can assure you, I have no tax issues whatsoever. This whole ordeal appears to be nothing more than a scam!
