I just got a message with a code 616879 to confirm a charge of £572.50 to AVIVA. I didn’t make any payment like that, so I’m thinking it might be a scam. They said if it wasn’t me, I should ring up fraud on 03301900118. Just thought I’d share in case anyone else gets something similar!

Had my phone on silent and got like a bunch of calls all at once, but only a few actually went through. Definitely sounds like one of those cold calls or some kinda scam to me.

Just got a text saying my HSBC One Time Passcode is 73828 for a 355.32GBP payment to APPLE-Ref: RBSJ. I definitely didn’t do this payment, so I’m gonna ring their fraud team at 0330 175 2576 to sort it out. Feels dodgy if you ask me!
