Some bloke with an Indian accent calling in English seemed like he was trying to break into my computer. I just told him I was on some island with no internet at all.

I got a call from an asian woman claiming she was with Microsoft about my laptop. I had a right laugh at her. Then she changed her story, saying she was from another company, which made me chuckle even more. In the end, she told me to fH#k off!

Had a call from a man with an Indian accent claiming he was from BT Microsoft. He told us our account was under attack and urged us to turn on our laptop straight away so he could stop the hacking. His tone was very urgent and honestly worried us. We switched on the laptop and he asked us to enter a licence number he gave. Luckily just then our son walked in and told us to hang up immediately. When we searched the number later, it turned out to be a known scam. Please watch out, folks. The number he called from was 07931543735.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Microsoft, speaking very clear English but with a slight hint of an Indian accent. It was obviously a scam but when I called them out on it, they got really annoyed. They started threatening to involve the police, saying the phone call was being recorded and asking me who I thought I was speaking to. When I bluntly told them they were a fraud, the caller suddenly got quite rude and aggressive.
