I got a voicemail saying it was about my national insurance number, but it sounded dodgy to me. Definitely don’t trust it.

i got in touch with hmrc about that phone call and they told me they're well aware it’s a scam. they said they wouldn’t leave any voicemail about problems with your national insurance number, so be careful!
