Got a call from a woman’s automated voice talking about immigration stuff, said something regarding urgent papers. Then it told me to hit 1 if I wanted to continue or something like that. Definitely sounded like a scam.

Got one of those typical bank fraud calls, you press 2 and it ends up with some bloke speaking with an Indian accent on the other end. Classic scam tactic that.

I got a recorded call telling me my internet was corrupted or something like that. It sounded dodgy and like one of those scam calls. Definitely ignored it.

This morning at eight o'clock, a bloke rang our house insisting that there were scammers tampering with our internet connection. My elderly mother found it quite difficult to disengage from the conversation, so in the end, she hung up. However, he persisted and kept ringing back time and again. I eventually took the call and made it clear that there was no problem whatsoever, and instructed him to cease his calls. He became increasingly agitated when I reiterated my farewell, even managing to throw a few expletives my way. I warned him that if he dared to call back again, I would involve the authorities. To top it all off, he got his wires crossed when he started asking about my Android devices. His behaviour was frankly quite intrusive.

Got a call earlier - some recorded message claiming to be from bank security, saying there were two suspicious payments: one for £100 with Amazon, and another over £1000 sent overseas. It told me to press 1 if I hadn’t made these transactions. Didn’t stay on the line for long, just hung up straight away. Looked up the number here afterwards and yeah, no surprises there!

Be cautious with this con artist!

He’s definitely not with BT!

He called to inquire about my internet speed, and when I pretended to be clueless about it, he turned nasty within a minute, hurling abuse and calling me a time-waster!

Make sure to report him!

I’ve had this number calling me non-stop all week. First day it was some bloke called ‘Steve’ saying he’s from Vodafone, then yesterday some lady ‘Susan’ claiming she’s with Amazon. Day 3 was BT and today some guy ‘Reg’ said he was from “your bank”. Can’t wait to find out who rings tomorrow! Loads of background chatter and the caller had a funny accent but kept insisting they’re English and it’s definitely not a scam!

I had about five calls on my home phone today, all from different numbers, each saying something about a BT phone bill refund of £202. Thing is, I'm not even a BT customer. My number's on the TPS list too. The caller spoke with an Asian accent and there was a lot of noise in the background. No doubt, it was a scam.

Lately, we've been getting loads of calls from people with Indian accents, ringing from both landlines and mobiles, claiming to be BT OPENreach. It’s definitely the same lot that keep calling from 02920929542. They’re honestly such a nuisance. We made it clear they’re being reported for scamming, but they just keep on ringing.
