Got a call from what sounded like an automated voice claiming to be from Amazon, saying my account would be charged £79.99 every month. They told me to press a certain number (I believe it was 8) if I wanted to talk to a manager. Don’t press any button, it’s a con. I reported this to Amazon about a month back. Actually, the £79.99 charge is an annual fee paid once, not monthly. If you’re being billed monthly, they can’t just switch you to a yearly plan, unless you set it up yourself in your Amazon account settings.
