Josh sent me a message about the bible and jesus. It seemed quite genuine and not like one of those scam texts. To me, it felt like he was just trying to encourage people to explore their spirituality. Of course, everyone might see it differently, but personally, i thought it was a nice message. I’ve been getting the same messages from some guy called Josh, like others here. Folks are curious how he’s even got hold of our digits - I reckon it’s because scammers keep lists of numbers that they swap around. Lately, I’ve had loads of dodgy calls and texts too, so think mine’s on one of those lists. Honestly, the best move is just to ignore and block them straight away. Don’t trust anyone who rings you out of nowhere, most of these scammy types target older people, so please have a chat with your family and warn them about it. Stay careful, everyone!

got a txt from +447931322030 saying something like: “hey, i’m josh, supernatural faith is boundless, believing in yourself and jesus christ and the bible can help you in all parts of life. god bless”. it said it was a random no and maybe a church person trying to spread goodwill. could be genuine or just someone taking advantage of lonely people during this lockdown to scam ’em outta their money. the poor spelling and grammar don’t really scream professional church outreach, so i’m suspicious it’s the latter. defo not replying to that.

The message was full of terrible grammar, random capital letters and awful punctuation. The bloke’s name turns out to be Joshua Martin Price. I put his email into Google and it brought me to his own site. Then I used the email on Facebook and found a page there that was linking back to that same website, so I’m pretty sure it’s the right guy. No idea where he’s getting hold of our numbers, but I’m definitely going to report this to the cops.
