Got a message from this number claiming to be Tesco Bank. Lucky for me, I've never been a Tesco Bank customer, so it was clear as day that this was a scam.

TESCO BANK just sent me a message saying a new gadget was added to my account on 15th Dec at 4:08pm. It told me to go to a website if I hadn’t allowed it. Total scam alert! Don’t click anything like that!

Had a ring from this number earlier, turned out to be someone from Tesco trying to push their latest deals. Not really interested but they were polite enough. If you’re not up for any offers, just say no and they’ll leave you be. Just a heads up for anyone wondering!

I just got a message saying Tesco noticed a new gadget was added to my account on 14th Dec at 17:44. They told me if I hadn’t approved it, I should go to a website. Seems dodgy to me, so I didn’t click anything. Watch out!

Got a text supposedly from “Halifax” but it’s definitely a scam. The number was just some random mobile one, not the usual official Halifax service number. Don’t fall for it!

Got the exact same text claiming to be from Halifax. Tried calling the number back, just kept ringing so I don’t think it's legit. Definitely don’t share any personal info with them.

I never opened any account with Halifax, so this call’s clearly a scam trying to steal info. Don’t engage with this number at all, as it just hands your details straight to the crooks. Best thing is to block it and tell Halifax about it.
