Just got a message from Halifax saying a new device was linked to my account on 10th May at 2:22pm. I didn’t do anything like that! If you get this and it’s not you, best to check out [#]canceldevice[###]/halifax quick. Looks like a scam to me.

Got a text supposedly from Halifax saying something about linking a new gadget. The link it gave wasn’t actually from Halifax though, looked fishy and definitely a phishing attempt. Beware!

Got a text saying it was from Halifax: "A NEW DEVICE was linked to your account on 05/10 at 14:22. If you didn't do this, go to: [#]canceldevice[###]/halifax." Thing is, I'm not even with Halifax, and my firewall blocked the link, saying it was 'High Risk'. Pretty obvious scam. Best to just ignore and delete it, don’t click on that link.
