Got a robo-call claiming to be from the National Insurance office saying my NI number had been used illegally somewhere. They told me to press 1 right away to speak to the call centre or else legal trouble would come. Sounds like typical phishing, trying to freak you out and trick you into calling back. Don’t fall for it - ignore the instructions and definitely don’t ring them back. Best bet is to report it to Action Fraud with the details.
