Got a voicemail from a woman saying she wanted to offer me a job and asked me to call her back... not interested, so I didn’t bother.

I got a call from a woman, either Janey or Jenny, using this number. She claimed she needed a big batch of soaps and bath bombs for her daughter’s little shop because their usual supplier had failed them. Don’t trust this lady to place an order with you - it’s obviously a scam! She tried to pay by credit card but luckily for us, we couldn’t go through with it. We’re just a small charitable organisation, so be careful!

Sounds like a classic case of card scam to me. They fake a charity fundraiser, make big orders paid with bogus cards, and then some random person turns up to pick up the goods. Usually they go for big Yankee Candle jars, and the shop ends up with no cash and no stock. We told the caller we weren’t having any of it and just like that, the polite lady just hung up on us. Watch out for this one, it’s a total con.

Someone called 'Janney Woods' from ‘Air Time Co’ attempted to buy stuff worth thousands using a dodgy card. If she contacts you, don’t agree to any orders - you’ll end up losing a lot of money. Stay well clear!
