This number called me after I placed an order for a mobility scooter. They said the battery was faulty and advised me to cancel, which I did. Later, they told me about a more expensive scooter and I agreed to buy that instead. But just as the new scooter was about to be shipped, they cancelled saying they don’t deliver to the Highlands. The thing is, I live in Insch, Aberdeenshire, not the Highlands. Apparently, Amazon is now looking into him because he’s done similar things to other customers.

Title: Got a Call About an eBay Purchase Upgrade Someone rang me to let me know that the eBay item I bought was going to be swapped for a newer model. I didn’t mind the call at all, felt quite helpful actually.

This bloke said he was calling from Surrey and claimed he got my number off Gumtree. He wanted me to post the item and promised to do a bank transfer. But the minute I said I needed cash on pickup, he just hung up on me.
