I received a rather dubious text on my phone from the number 07930388744 at 14:02 today, 5th November 2020. Strangely enough, it ended up in my spam folder. The message claimed to be from PayPal and read: "PayPal: We've noticed some unusual activity on your account. Kindly follow the link to verify your details: https://unusualactivity017.com?p=4" It’s not unusual for me to receive spam emails warning me that my PayPal account is at risk of being locked due to strange activity, but this is the first time I've encountered a spam text of this sort. Quite alarming, to say the least!
