Was chatting to my daughter and granddaughter on a video call when this number popped up. I didn’t pick up at first, but they rang three times back to back. Eventually, I ended the call with my daughter to answer it. Turned out to be one of those "you've been in an accident" type calls. I just hung up straight away. Honestly, if I ever did have an accident, I wouldn’t trust a firm like that. Really poor way to do business.

I picked up the phone and it just went dead on me.

rang me saying they were with the 'national accident helpline', so i asked where they found my number. they said it was listed in their system. when i pressed further, they suddenly claimed to be from 'a b legal'. after pestering me about whether i'd been in an accident in the last three years multiple times, he told me to just 'listen'. i asked again how they got my number and then ended the call. this isn’t the first time i've had similar dodgy calls!
