This number popped up on my phone screen. It was an automated voice pretending to be from Amazon, saying my Prime subscription would be cancelled if I didn’t pay £8.99. They then told me to press 1 to speak to an Amazon rep. I obviously didn’t press anything - I’m not even signed up for Amazon Prime! I’ve reported the call to EE, who use 07930 in their mobile network. Sounds like a scammer trying to trick people. I dug a bit more and found out this exact number is linked to a landline system in China. Oddly enough, my own mobile number appears there too???
