I also ran into trouble with this number while using Gumtree. I paid for an item that never showed up. When I reached out to Gumtree, they told me someone had used this number before and had their account blocked, though they wouldn’t say who. Gumtree’s handling of this was rubbish - they should’ve flagged this sooner and notified the police instead of letting it keep happening. Trust me, don’t fall for this like I did: never pay upfront through Gumtree unless you’re meeting face-to-face and can check the item first. It’s just not worth the risk. The scammer wiped out the account linked to Wirecard Card Solutions, so I’ve lost my money for good. The name they’re using is Mathew Mahamud and the place listed was Rumney, Cardiff, but before that, it was Sheldon in the West Midlands.

I came across this number on Gumtree where someone is faking to sell stuff, but when you pay up, the items never show. They've been changing spots and the latest alias they go by is Mathew Mahamud. Be warned!
