Seems dodgy to me, but if you dig into BPO Collections reviews, it looks like the safest bet if you owe HMRC is to deal with HMRC straight away and set up a payment plan. From what people say, if you pay these guys directly it can cause months of hassle before your money even reaches HMRC, and they’re not exactly helpful about it.
