I received an unsolicited text message from +447928996476 through SMSC +4478020332 on 27 April 2011 at 14:59 BST. The message claimed, "If you're facing difficulties with over £1,000 of debt, there's assistance available, including government provisions that may allow for your debt to be wiped out. To apply, text YES. Text QUIT to unsubscribe." This message is in violation of regulations 22 [unrequested marketing communications] and 23(a) [sender's identity hidden] of the PECR. I've reported this to the Information Commissioner's Office.
