Got a call from some automated voice claiming to be Her Majesty’s Queen Tax Department. Said there’s a fraud case against me. Honestly, don’t press any buttons, just hang up straight away.

Just received a phone call claiming I was due some money from hemp govuk, sounded like a total con. Best thing to do is block them straight away!

Received a message about some unpaid three bills, but I’m not a customer of theirs. Total scam for sure, so I just blocked the number right away.

Got a call where some chinese voice kept repeating the same announcement over and over. There was this sparkly tune in the background that made it clear the message was on loop. After about half a minute, the call just ended abruptly. Very obviously a prerecorded thing.

Got a message from some bloke saying my account was at risk and I needed to click a link ASAP. Didn’t even bother saying which bank it was about. Pretty obvious scam, total amateurs! Makes me laugh how dumb they are.

Got a really cheeky call from 07981831080 about some call blocking service, told them straight away I knew it was a scam. Proper rude and confrontational the way they spoke. Already reported it over to BT.

Got a message from 0792568412 saying my Netflix subscription had ended and to click a link to fix it. I didn’t click anything since I don’t even have Netflix. Seemed fishy to me.

I got a text saying there was an issue with the payment for my recent EE bill, and it had a link to click on. Since I’m with EE, I thought it was legit at first, but then the link started asking me for my card info which made me realise something was off. The link looked just like an official EE one though!

Got a message saying: EE can’t handle my most recent bill and to stop any charges I need to log in at this weird link [#]ee[###]-reft2gs[###]?ee=2 to update my details. Problem is, I’m not with EE at all. I tried to send the message over to EE for them to check as they say to send any dodgy texts to 7726, but it just bounced back saying it couldn’t be sent.
