Got a message from EVRI saying my package needs a £1.45 shipping charge. They told me to pay it through evri-updating-delivery#com or else they’ll send the parcel back. Bit annoying if you ask me!

Got a text supposedly from Evri saying my parcel was sent back to the depot because delivery failed, with a link to “reshedule” it at https://evri-shipment-id.com. Definitely a scam, I haven’t ordered a thing! Had similar message before about a parcel, just ignored it and blocked the number straight away.

Got a dodgy text saying it was from Evri (Hermes) about a missed delivery. They wanted me to pay a "redelivery fee" by clicking a link, which looked really suspicious. The website is actually linked to someone in Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland. Tried to find out who it was, but thanks to GDPR, I can’t get any more info on that person. Definitely don’t fall for it!

I've just had a rather dodgy text masquerading as Evri, claiming there was an issue with a delivery. The message included a link that led me to a phoney Evri site, clearly fishing for personal information. I caught on when I entered the provided delivery code into the real Evri website-thank goodness I had a link from a legitimate email to compare it with-only to find the code was completely unrecognised. Here’s what the text read: Evri: Your parcel couldn't be delivered and is now back at our depot. Please head to https://evri-… [link partially redacted since it's a scam].

Got a text from 07928 453318 saying my billing details were out of date and if I didn’t update, my account would get suspended. The message had a dodgy link (something like Htps:// pp - ref 7373.com). I had a sneaky look using a secure TOR browser and a big red warning flashed up, telling me it was a scam and that entering info there would just leak my details to fraudsters. Definitely dodgy, don’t trust it!

Got another fake text claiming I’d been near someone with the omicron covid variant, saying it was from NHS Test and Protect. Obviously, I called up NHS Scotland and they told me they hadn’t sent any message like that. It’s just another con trying to get you to purchase a test kit and steal your bank info. Seriously, don’t respond to these texts. Always double-check with the official NHS sites for Scotland, England, Wales or Northern Ireland. These scammers just feed off our worries about the virus.
