I got a voicemail from this number saying that my order has been updated and to check out something at MyDpd.link. Thing is, I haven't bought or ordered anything recently, not in the past month anyway. Seems dodgy to me.

Got a text from 079284252608 saying there was a parcel waiting with DPD, but we had to update our details first. Rang the number back, but it just switched over to some O2 voicemail. We left a not-so-nice message ourselves, so fingers crossed they don’t bother us again!

Message from DPD UK: It appears there are outstanding shipping charges for your order, resulting in it being placed on hold. To rectify the situation, please visit: [link removed]. I happen to be waiting on a delivery from DPD, so I was initially uncertain whether this was a dodgy message. However, as my order is already settled in terms of shipping fees, it’s clear this message is erroneous. Moreover, the phrasing “This has caused your order to be hold” is rather clumsy and not how one typically communicates in English. Furthermore, Who-calls.me.uk identifies this number as a private line, rather than being affiliated with the major DPD operation. In summary, this all seems rather suspect. I’ve decided to block the number.

I received a text from what appeared to be DPD, stating they couldn't deliver my parcel. It prompted me to click on a link, but the branding wasn’t quite right; they used ‘dpd’ rather than the proper uppercase. Plus, the phrase “parcel on hold” raised a red flag for me! I was actually at home the entire day prior, eagerly waiting for my delivery, yet there was no sign of any attempt to drop off the package. This feels awfully like a scam to me, so I’ve taken the precaution of blocking the number.
