Like a few others have pointed out, this is totally a scam. They’re telling me I’ve come into contact with someone who has Omicron and that I need to arrange a PCR test through a link they provide. This isn’t how the government works, and the NHS never contacts people from just one mobile number or pushes you to use only one testing company. Best to block the number straight away!

Got a message saying, "UK Health Service NHS - You've been near someone with Omicron. Please order a PCR test kit at swab-tracing-uk.com." I knew straight away it was dodgy. Would be good to ban this number quick before it scams loads of people. Cheers!

Got a call from someone pretending to be the NHS but it’s a total rip-off. They said I needed to book a PCR test through this site - swab-tracing-uk or something - but I don’t even have that Track & Trace app they mentioned. Definitely a scam to watch out for!
