Just got a text from 07928 373820, classic scam move. The message was just "Dad save this new number" with nothing more - no name, no hint if it's a bloke or a lass, no check-in like "Are you alright?" or anything. It’s obviously a trick to make parents or anyone with kids reply without thinking, so the scammer can then send another text asking for urgent money or help, claiming their phone's busted or they've lost it. Like the earlier review said, they’re basically faking being a family member with a new number to get your details and cash. I’ve blocked, reported, and deleted it now.

Someone rang claiming to be a relative but from a different number, asking for cash and assistance. Felt very dodgy to me.
