Got a call from a woman with a foreign accent saying she was from BT, telling me my internet had been hacked. I work at BT myself, so I threw a few questions her way, but she didn’t have a clue what she was talking about. It was odd she phoned from a mobile, and even weirder that the number was linked to Telefonica. Pretty clear it was just a scam.
