I got a call from 07557373221, some noisy call centre claiming to be “British Telecom.” The guy kept going on about my IP address being hacked by “foreign intruders” trying to steal my identity on the dark web. After about 15 minutes of this nonsense, I hung up. Then, suddenly, he called me back from 07365648962. By then, I was fed up and ended the call again. Just when I thought it was over, the same number rang me from yet another number: 07927823785. Seems like they’re bouncing between a small set of numbers to avoid getting caught. That’s why I’ve reported all three here.
