Got a call from this number earlier, and when I picked up, a recorded voice claimed my visa or mastercard had two dodgy charges that day (something like £700 and £900). It said to press 1 to stop them. I had a feeling it was a con, so I just ended the call. After that, I looked at my bank app, and everything matched my spending - no weird payments at all. Plus, the number definitely isn’t linked to my bank. Total scam, best thing to do is block and forget about it.
