They called up saying they wanted to sort out a Chartered Surveyor to check out our loft and give a report. Mentioned they were “collaborating with the Home Office over fake firms.” They gave me the Surveyor’s name who was meant to inspect, but when I looked him up on the RICS register, he wasn’t listed. I phoned back and the bloke sounded quite taken aback. Feels dodgy to me, I’m not keen on letting some sketchy person into my house. Be careful!
