I just got a call claiming it was regarding my Amazon account renewal at £70.99. They said if I wanted to talk to a manager, to press 1. I didn’t press it because I figured it might connect you to a premium rate line or some sort of scam, so watch out and don’t press anything!

Got a call from 07926 030657, some bloke pretending a mate was in hospital and needed a phone top-up. Total scam, don’t fall for it!

Loads of calls from this number and a few others have been bugging me. Most times it’s some automated voice claiming my Amazon Prime is about to be cancelled or asking if I’ve made a purchase that I need to pay for. Thing is, I don’t even have an Amazon account! They tell you to press 1 to talk to someone, but I’m convinced it’s a scam. I always block them, but they just come back using different numbers. Never once pressed 1 ‘cause I’m pretty sure that’d end up charging me somehow!

I got calls from this number two times on the 3rd of Feb and then another couple on the 5th, but luckily they stopped after I blocked all numbers not saved in my contacts.

Somebody called saying they were from an accident claims firm about a crash I apparently had. I warned them if they called back, the accident would be on their end. They just dropped the line after that.

Today (4/2/20) I got a couple of calls from this number but everytime when I answered it was silent. They rang me a few times but didn’t bother leaving a voicemail. When I finally picked up on the fourth try, it was one of them annoying calls about some car accident. The connection was rubbish and the person didn’t speak much English.
