My old mobile got cloned after I handed it over for some repairs, which I never expected to cause such trouble even months later. It wasn’t even connected to the 02 network but was on a separate private contract, totally unrelated. This crook dragged me through nightmare of huge charges and even started threatening me. Honestly, I’d advise everyone to contact their provider to double-check if anything odd has been happening - these things usually pop up in detailed bills under “miscellaneous” or something similar. Better to be safe than sorry.
