Got a call from someone claiming to be BT, a guy with an Indian accent saying my broadband was hacked and he needed me to block an ISP address. He told me he’d sent a PIN by text to prove it was really BT, but the message just showed “BT” as the sender with no number. I told him I wasn’t convinced and that I would ring BT myself, which I tried to do but couldn’t get through to anyone in the end.
