Just got a brief burst of shouting from some call centre far away, then a loud hangup straight after, all coming from a dodgy looking mobile number. Odds that it’s anything more than some rubbish scam are pretty much zero.

Got a call from 07925659288 today around 12.35 but as soon as I picked up, the call just ended - no voicemail or anything. Then about ten minutes later, I noticed an international number flashed on my phone, which is weird cos I have all those blocked. No clue how that even got through.

TOTALLY SCAMMERS. They use bogus numbers and call through the internet so you cant track em or block em. Automating calls like that is just terrible. Completely fake and dodgy. Stay clear, do NOT get caught out.

Complete scam, dont get fooled by it. They keep ringing me non stop even after I blocked their number. They use a mobile and also one beginning with 011 443, telling folks they’re some government backed firm. I wonder which government? Certainly not the UK’s thats for sure. Someone rang me saying they were from 1A Homes about some Carbon Reduction thing. I told them we’re on the TPS and asked where they’d got my number from. They claimed it was from the “National Database”. When I told them that’s not real, they insisted “well it is.” Since it’s clearly not, I just ended the call and reported them to the TPS. According to Companies House, 1A Homes’ address is just a marketing agency in Glasgow. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

Absolute fraud. If you’ve shared your bank info with this number, or anyone calling from 0114 438 8181, ring your bank immediately and block that card. They’re just con artists. Don’t be tricked by this scam! They pretend to be from BT and TPS to fool people into a bogus scheme, grab your details, and then clean you out. I’m so angry I wanna swear, but I’ll keep it clean. Just know, they’re nothing but thieves. Total crooks.

SCAM Avoid this number, it's the same scammers behind calls from 0114 438 8181. They try to trick you into giving your bank info by pretending to be from BT or the TPS scheme. They say your TPS has either run out or been hacked. Then they push this £2 a month subscription, but they'll ask for your bank details to set it up. They always seem to know your full name, address, and postcode - probably by searching Google or public voter lists. I’ve reported it to the police but they told me it’s really hard to stop these calls.

Got a call at 15:36 from a woman named Anne who claimed it wasn’t a cold call but a warm one. She said there was some energy saving funding, just like in the papers today, for people in my area. When I mentioned I’m on the TPS and she shouldn’t be ringing me, she replied in a really condescending way, and totally incorrectly, that you have to renew your TPS registration every year.
