I just wanted to warn everyone about this dodgy phone scam going around pretending to be HMRC. The call says they’re taking legal action against you and asks you to press 1 to talk to a caseworker for payment. Don’t fall for it - it’s a known scam and HMRC have confirmed it’s fake. Loads of reports about this have come in, especially from older folks who get caught out. If you get a call like this, just hang up straight away.
