Got a call from someone wanting my bank info, I just told them to buzz off.

Got a phone call from an Asian gentleman calling himself James Herbert, saying he was from Citizens Advice Bureau. I’ve dealt with an actual adviser there before, and they confirmed they wouldn’t ring people out of the blue about money issues or anything like that. I’ve reported it to the National Fraud & Cyber Crime Reporting Centre through the Action Fraud site. If anyone else has had dodgy calls like this, you can reach their hotline on 0300 123 2040. I also handed in details of 21 other phone numbers used by these scammers, all using the same false story.
