I got this robo call claiming there was some fraud linked to my National Insurance number, supposedly tied to criminal stuff happening in Wales. It said I needed to press 1 to speak to an Investigator before they took legal action against me. I’m pretty sure if I had pressed 1, it would have connected me to someone trying to snag my NI details and possibly bank info as well. These NI numbers are a goldmine for scammers and criminal groups. Official departments like HMRC would never use an automated call like this to notify someone about an investigation.
