Got a message from "Royal Mail" about an unpaid fee for a parcel. Said I needed to click a link to sort it out. Bit fishy if you ask me!

I got a text from +44 7923484080 saying something about Royal Mail and my parcel needing some sort of payment. It mentioned unpaid delivery fees and gave me a link: https://Royalmail.track-shipment.com. When I clicked it, there was another message with a tracking number JA130801653GB, saying my parcel was at their warehouse but they hadn’t received the full payment, apparently due to changes from covid-19. They wanted me to pay £2.99 to move it along and gave an option to "Book a Redelivery". Naturally, I didn’t click any link after that, just to be safe. Out of curiosity, I put that tracking number into the official Royal Mail site and it came back with an error saying they didn’t recognise it. Totally obvious this is a scam trying to get my money! So beware if you get anything like this.

Don’t trust it! I got a call about a parcel I wasn’t even waiting for. When I tried to check their website, it completely wouldn’t work. Turns out, the whole thing’s a total con.
